Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, a brand-new Final Fantasy experience, will launch for free on iOS and Android mobile devices this summer. The game will have in-app purchases. Already launched in Japan, the game has over six-million players and is an entirely new role-playing adventure for the mobile generation, says Square Enix.
In Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, adventurers will follow two knights of the kingdom of Grandshelt as they begin their quest to pursue a highly sought after crystal. As they set off for their journey, a young girl suddenly appears before them, forming the foundation of their party. Players will make their way through various types of dungeons to search for items, collect gil, uncover hidden paths and venture new routes.
The mobile game features traditional, turn-based gameplay with streamlined battle mechanics and intuitive touch controls, so it’s easy to pick up and play even if you’re a newcomer to the franchise. Old fans will run into familiar faces including the Warrior of Light, Cecil, Vivi and Terra and will also be treated with high-quality animations of famous Final Fantasy summons.
Players can pre-register for Final Fantasy Brave Exvius at its website and will receive special in-game items at launch for doing so. The game will launch in six languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Chinese (traditional) and Korean.
