Mobius Final Fantasy will head to iOS and Android platforms on August 3, 2016, Square Enix has announced. The title promises to deliver a console Final Fantasy experience to mobile, offering players a completely new RPG adventure filled with deep character customization, ongoing live events and HD graphics that push the boundaries of the mobile platform. Producer Yoshinori Kitase and writer Kazushige Nojima headline the project, known for their work on Final Fantasy VII and the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake.
In Mobius Final Fantasy, a man wakes up in a world called Palamecia with no memory of his past. He finds himself tasked with bringing hope to the world by unraveling a mysterious prophecy around the legendary warrior of light.
The game will be free-to-play with in-app purchases and has already been widely acclaimed in Japan, garnering the App Store’s “Best of 2015” Award.
