Ubisoft has shared a new Child of Light walkthrough video, showcasing more details on the stunningly beautiful turn-based RPG fairy tale. The vibrant, new digital title, which will be heading to the PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Wii U, is being built on the UbiArt framework, the same engine responsible for Rayman Origins, Rayman Legends and the recently announced Valiant Hearts: The Great War.
In the latest video, Child of Light’s Lead Programmer, Brianna Code, walks us through an early mission in the game which explains the differences between playing as Aurora and playing as Igniculus. Also seen in the video is the game’s choice system, that will allow players to choose whether or not to accept a quest. Those decisions will have a direct impact on Aurora’s journey throughout the game.
Accoring to UbiSoft, Child of Light is being billed as a turn-based RPG fairy tale, inspired by classic JRPGs and epic poetry. While taking on the roles of Aurora and Igniculus, players will travel through the kingdom of Lemuria hunting down the Sun, Moon and Stars that were stolen by the Black Queen. Child of Light will be released sometime next year.
