There’s a lot to be excited about with Tom Clancy’s The Division, an upcoming title from Ubisoft. Earlier today during the Microsoft E3 2014 press conference, the company showed off some gameplay footage, and during its own E3 2014 press conference, Ubisoft revealed the game’s opening cinematic. Setting the foundation for the events that lead up to The Division, the game’s opening cinematic not only shows off gorgeous visuals expected from the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but also reveals how tragedy has come to New York City.
The Division is a next-gen experience in a persistent and dynamic environment where exploration and player progression are essential. Players will team up with other Division agents to restore order, investigate the source of the virus and take back New York. The game will also feature seamless multiplayer where gamers can easily team up with friends to take down their enemies and achieve group objectives. In addition, The Division will take advantage of a tablet app to provide a bird’s-eye view of the battlefield and the ability to aid allies in combat by attacking enemies or identifying targets and raining destruction down on them.
Tom Clancy’s The Division currently does not have a release date.
