Freehold Games is planning to release Sproggiwood on Steam October 24, the company revealed to Full Cleared. The game first appeared on Steam Greenlight earlier this year and was greenlit in just under three days. The story-driven, turn-based roguelike aims to appeal to newcomers for the genre while offering plenty for seasoned veterans to enjoy.
According to Freehold Games, Sproggiwood will feature six different classes and over 70 items to use and equip as players battle against over 30 different monsters throughout the game. Sproggiwood will feature 10 procedurally-generated dungeons as players look to bring civilization back to Sproggiwood.
Full Cleared will be getting a first look at the upcoming roguelike title over the weekend and we’ll be posting up our first impressions of the beta on Monday.
