Super Meat Boy is heading to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita consoles this fall, Team Meat has announced on its website. Originally released on October 20, 2010, Super Meat Boy has been available on the Xbox 360, PC and Mac systems but will finally join the Sony PlayStation family after nearly five years. Billed as a “tough as nails” platformer, Super Meat Boy has players taking on the role of an animated cube of meat that is trying to save his girlfriend, who happens to be made of bandages. And of course, the enemy in the game is an evil fetus in a jar wearing a tux.
The game features a story mode with over 300 levels spanning over five chapters and “a story so moving you will cry yourself to sleep for the rest of your life.”
