Yoshi’s Woolly World will arrive in the U.S. on October 16, 2015, Nintendo announced today during its E3 2015 Direct event. The adorably cute Wii U platformer will allow up to two players to locally play through Yoshi’s latest adventure that takes place in a world constructed of yarn. This time around, Yoshi will toss yarn balls instead of eggs, as everyone’s favorite dinosaur will have to clear blocked paths, tangle-up enemies and even knit together platforms and warp pipes to save fellow Yoshis. One of the main focuses when developing Yoshi’s Woolly World was to make sure it’s a game that anyone can enjoy, allowing players to adjust the level of difficulty including Mellow Mode, which gives Yoshi wings to make progression easier.

Other ways that players will be able to customize the experience is becoming immune to fire damage for example. Lastly, there’s no time limit for any of the stages, so players can take their time to unravel all the secrets of each level. Yoshi’s Woolly World will be priced at $49.99 and will be exclusive to the Nintendo Wii U. Three yarn Yoshis will also be released along with the game, one green, one pink and one blue.
