BioShock: The Collection has been officially announced as a remastered compilation that includes all single-player DLC for one value-packed bundle. Arriving September 13, 2016, BioShock: The Collection will be available on the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One priced at $59.99 and includes remastered versions of BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite. It’s worth noting that BioShock Infinite is not being remastered on PC “because it already meets current-gen console standards and runs smoothly on high visual settings.”
The compilation doesn’t just come with the games, but also includes the video series “Director’s Commentary: Imagining BioShock,” the Museum of Orphaned Concepts, which allows players to walk through a Rapture-inspired virtual museum and Challenge Rooms, that take place outside the story of BioShock.
As for BioShock 2, multiplayer will not be included but players will receive Minerva’s Den and the Protector Trials as part of the bundle. Lastly, BioShock Infinite will include both episodes of Burial at Sea, the Clash in the Clouds add-on pack and the Columbia’s Finest pack, which combines the contents of the Industrial Revolution pack and the Upgrade pack as well as 500 Silver Eagles, five Lock Picks, six unique Gear items and two weapon upgrades.
