At Tokyo Game Show 2016, Square Enix revealed a new Final Fantasy XV trailer that delves deeper into the upcoming game’s story and characters. Originally set to be released on September 30, Final Fantasy XV has been delayed to November 29 and will be heading to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The latest trailer is probably the game’s most revealing yet, and ties in the events from Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV. That means if you haven’t watched the movie yet, there will be spoilers in the above trailer. Along with setting the stage for Noctis and his friends setting out on their journey through the land of Eos, the trailer also introduces characters that players will encounter in the opening chapters of the game. Some may be familiar faces if you have watched Kingsglaive.
The highly anticipated RPG follows the story of Crown Prince Noctis and his comrades on an epic journey of brotherhood, love and despair as they unravel Noctis’s destiny while taking up arms against the warmongering empire, Niflheim.
Hopefully Final Fantasy XV doesn’t experience anymore delays and gamers can finally get their hands on it before year’s end. For now, the above trailer should get you excited if you’ve been looking forward to the game.
