EA has confirmed Star Wars Battlefront II is coming, and we’ll get our first look at the game on April 15 at Star Wars Celebration. The company will be hosting a panel at 11:30 AM Pacific / 2:30 PM Eastern and will debut the first trailer then. Following the debut of the trailer, developers from DICE, Criterion and Motive will be on hand to offer a glimpse at the game.
The sequel to Star Wars Battlefront was announced in May 2016 and EA said earlier this year that Star Wars Battlefront II will be released this holiday season. Not much is known about the game, but EA has acknowledged criticisms of the first game and has suggested the sequel will be a larger, more in-depth game and will feature a single-player campaign. Expect to see content from multiple eras of the Star Wars franchise. The game will also be playable at EA Play 2017 that takes place during E3.
No confirmed platforms have been announced, but the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC are safe bets.
