Square Enix has announced that Dissidia Final Fantasy NT will be heading to the PlayStation 4 early next year. The game is a port of the 2015 arcade game that was released in Japan and is developed in partnership with Team Ninja from Koei Tecmo Games. The company said Dissidia Final Fantasy NT will offer both offline and online play, with over 20 familiar Final Fantasy characters to choose from. There will also be familiar summons in the game, including Ifrit, Shiva, and Odin, adding to the intense 3 vs. 3 battles. In addition, the latest Dissidia game will bring back the series’ unique “bravery combat system.”
Producer Ichiro Hazama, director Takeo Kujiraoka, Justin Wong of Echo Fox, and K-Brad will be hosting a deep dive panel at the E3 Coliseum on Tuesday, June 13 at 3:15 PM Pacific / 6:15 PM Eastern. The E3 Coliseum will be livestreamed on both Twitch and YouTube.
