Ubisoft’s E3 2017 press conference packed plenty of surprises, gameplay trailers, and new announcements. Along with the official unveiling of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, the company showed off several new titles including Assassin’s Creed Origins, Just Dance 2018, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, mobile game South Park: Phone Destroyer, Starlink: Battle for Atlas, a new expansion for Steep called Road to the Olympics, The Crew 2, a VR experience called Transference featuring actor Elijah Wood, a new pirate game titled Skull and Bones, and arguably the most exciting, Beyond Good and Evil 2.
Many of the games shown today already have release dates, with Assassin’s Creed Origins arriving October 27, 2017. Before that however, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle will be available on the Nintendo Switch August 29. Barring any other delays, South Park: The Fractured But Whole will release November 17, 2017, while Steep: Road to the Olympics will be available starting December 5, 2017. Also releasing this year is Just Dance 2018 on October 24, 2017.
Those looking forward to the next entry of Far Cry will have to wait until February 27, 2018, but they’ll get to finally enjoy drop-in/drop-out cooperative multiplayer.
